Red Dala Horses in Nusn\u00e4s<\/h2>\n

The two\u00a0Dala horse factories in Nusn\u00e4s<\/a>\u00a0are really worth a visit. This factories are located in Nusn\u00e4s. The Dala Horse is a very popular symbol for the Dalarna region in Sweden and are still made by hand.<\/p>\n

Finish of the Vasaloppet in Mora<\/h2>\n

Vasaloppet is the world\u2019s oldest, biggest and longest ski race. The first race was in 1922 and the classic 90 km stretch from Berga by in S\u00e4len to Mora was, for a long time, the only Vasaloppet race. Today there are sixteen different races; cycling, running and cross-country skiing, that together attract 100,000 registered participants every year. All these races run along the historic stretch between S\u00e4len and Mora.<\/p>\n

Sled skiing in R\u00e4ttvik<\/h2>\n

R\u00e4ttvik makes itself very unique with Sweden’s longest and only twin-parallel-track summer toboggan run. The drag lift will first drawn you up in your sled. One you’re on top of the hill you can speed 725 meters\u00a0down hill. It is a nice adventure for the whole family. There are single and double sled’s. Children under the age of 7\u00a0must be accompanied by an adult.\u00a0The toboggan run is only open during the summer (June-August) \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

R\u00e4ttvik has also a piers that goes 628 meters into Lake Siljan. Originally it was created as a jetty for the steamer over Lake Siljan. Tourists could then visit R\u00e4ttvik and spend the night in the\u00a0neighboring hotel. In 1992 the pier has been renewed with the help of many donors. All the names of people who donated can be found on the boards of the pier. The steamer over Lake Siljan might not be there anymore but you can still travel over Lake Siljan by boat. A nice little boat for tourists named M\/S Gustaf Wasa sails over Lake Siljan to Mora and Leksland. Next to the long pier is a place to bathe.<\/p>\n
